IPL 2025 Schedule – When will the Match begin?

Now let’s come to the most important question – when will the IPL 2025 schedule come out? There has been no official announcement yet, but we can guess by looking at the trend of previous years. IPL usually starts in the last week of March or the first week of April, and runs till the end of May. So it is expected that IPL 2025 will also start in almost the same time frame.

If we look at the IPL schedule of the last few years, the IPL season lasts for about 2 months. It includes league matches, playoffs and finals. So, if IPL 2025 starts in late March or early April, it will run till late May or the first week of June.

Number of IPL matches and IPL teams

Only 10 teams will play in IPL 2025, as they have been playing for the last few years. A total of 74 matches will be played between these 10 teams, which will include league matches and playoffs. Each team plays 14 matches in the league stage, in which 7 matches are played on home ground and 7 matches on away ground.
